Simply a fantastic day....great fun for all the family and an ideal opportunity for the local community and visitors to realise what fantastic job the RNLI do.
Cannot wait until next year.
Well done

As a second cousin of Raymond, I am writing to offer my condolences to his family on behalf of the Scottish contingency. He was quite a few years older than I and I didn't see much of him but my Mum was great friends with his sister Betty. I spent many a happy holiday in that part of England and feel a close affinity with it. I was proud of my second cousin as not only was a noted football player but also he saved lives - a double hero. June Parr (Grand-daughter of Kate Welch)

GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU. I VISITED ENGLAND 10 YEARS AGO STAYING AT MR. DAVID WACKENSHAW HOME and TRIED some of the most WELLCOMING and WARM communities in the world. I happen to live in a SEA SIDE CITY TOO ( MAR DEL PLATA, ARGENTINA ) and I am fully aware of the importance of rescue teams at sea when trouble arises. The best of luck for you and especially my dear friend DAVID who I dont see since 1997. CHEERS.
